Thurston County's Premier Christmas Tree Farm Provides a True Northwest Family Tradition

Situated in south central Thurston County, with a scenic view of the Black Hills, Clyde 'n Dale's Holiday Trees & Gifts lets you choose your own tree while savoring the joy and tradition of a 10-acre family farm devoted to old fashioned Christmas cheer. Let our horse-drawn trolley take you to your tree. Our gift shoppe carries local crafts and ornaments, and children delight in our live music shows and entertainment, the jolliest of Santas, and fresh hot cider to warm their hands and tummies. We stock and groom only the finest lines of fir, including Noble, Fraser, Grand, and Douglas for your holiday pleasure.

About Our Horses
We have four draft or work horses:  two Clydesdales and two Percherons.  The Clydesdale breed originated in Scotland and the Percheron in France.

Our Clydesdales are Andy, a 22 year old gelding and Clyde, a 16 year old gelding.  Our Percherons are Ted, a 15 year old gelding and Major, a 10 year old gelding.

Our horses eat 25 pounds of hay (plus oats) a day, and weigh 1800 to 2100 pounds.
